ERO-Führungen, based in the Black Forest, is a long-established specialist for linear technology and precision guidance systems. The company serves customers in mechanical engineering, automation, and other industries, offering high-quality, tailor-made solutions from single units to series production.
To maintain its quality standards not only in production but also in administration, ERO sought to streamline document-heavy processes. One major bottleneck: handling order confirmations.
Each year, around 2,500 order confirmations arrive via email. Every document with a different layout and format. Employees had to manually open, review, and compare them with ERP data in Abas. In parallel, they often had to update customer records when order confirmations revealed changes in names, contacts, or addresses. Missing line items, incorrect prices, or unaccounted surcharges frequently caused rework. Manual processing took 3–5 minutes per document, tying up qualified staff in repetitive, low-value tasks.
