WHY CAMBRION EXISTS
The bottleneck was never the document.
Legacy OCR and IDP tools break on every new supplier, layout or format. With Cambrion you define a data schema and the business context once. Nothing to draw, label or train, and a new document type runs on day one.
A model that reads is not a process that runs.
Any capable model makes sense of a page today. Production is decided after that: the right fields, the right formats, every value traceable to the exact spot it came from. You set how deeply each field gets checked, and anything we cannot stand behind goes to a person, never guessed.

Dr. Daniel Tiarks
Co-founder & CTO
A physicist by training with a doctorate from TU Munich, Daniel came to documents through computer vision at MVTec Software, then spent years automating workflows for industrial clients. He contributes to Outlines, the open-source library for structured generation, and that work underpins how every Cambrion result is held to a schema. He leads engineering and product: the layer that decides how each document gets handled, and the validation that makes the output safe to build on.

Co-founder & CEO
Daniel spent six years at BMW Group, leading the go-to-market programme for BMW i across more than twenty markets. He went on to build business development at BYTON in Hong Kong and the Bay Area, through a 500 million dollar Series B and a team that grew from fifty to over fifteen hundred, then joined Kontrol as its first C-level commercial hire to run sales and build partnerships with Microsoft, TÜV SÜD and T-Systems. At Cambrion he owns commercial, partnerships, customer success and operations.

Ship in days, not quarters.
A sample document and a plain-language description are enough to configure a pipeline. If a rollout takes a quarter, we designed it wrong.

EU infrastructure, EU processing, on-premise where it is required. Sovereignty is a fundamental architecture decision.

Senior people, few handovers, direct access to the founders. We hire for judgement and then leave room to use it.

We do not ask for clean inputs. Rotated scans, handwriting and the five-hundredth layout are the job, not the exception.
